IA Proposal

1. What story      The combination of ‘the wall of fire rising’ and ‘the night woman’ Scene 1. the story starts with the funeral of Guy; Little Guy stands beside and starts his speech from the performance class. Then Lili should have a monologue that talks about how she knows that her family’s life will struggle because they lost their only financial support. Scene 2. The story then switch to ‘The night woman’. Lili is forced by the financial plight to be a prostitute and she decides to keep doing it until her child Little Guy finish his education. There is also a dialogue between Lili and her Client. Scene 3. This scene can be short; Little Guy finally finished his education, and Lili stops doing her job. Happy ending. 2. why is it interesting?     Because it finishes the suspense created at the end of the story 'The wall of fire rising', and smoothly connect the two stories with creativity. Fall play review

   On November 1st 2018, I watched the fall production at school in Black Box Theater called “the importance of being earnest” directed by Ms.Guarino. “The importance of being earnest” is originally written by Oscar Wilde; it talks about Jack, who is adopted when he was young, comes to the house of Algernon, who is his best friend. Jack tells Algernon that he wants to marry Algernon’s cousin Gwendolyn. When Algernon sees the names on Jack’s cigarette case, he is interested in who Earnest is and who Cecily is. Jack tells the truth to Algernon that he is actually not Earnest and the name is just a fictional name that he uses to get away with troubles and to marry Gwendolyn. Algernon calls this as ‘Bunburyist’ and he is interested in Cecily, who is obsessed with Earnest. Therefore, the drama begins. Both Jack and Algernon are pretending they are Earnest and both successfully proposed to Gwendolyn and Cecily. But then, soon Gwendolyn and Cecily find out the truth that both of the...

1. Connection between ‘the wall of fire rising’ and ‘night woman’ Night Woman can be the after story of The Wall of Fire Rising. Because of the death of her husband, Lili cannot support her family, and is forced to be a night woman The scene starts with Lili’s husband dies and then funeral, then shows how poor lili’s family becomes and being treated unfairly. After Lili’s monologue about how she struggles to support the family, she decides to become s night woman, then transition to Nigth Woman.
