individual update
Throughout the past few days of group work on the performance, my group had lots of progress that made the performance much better. We first spent a few days running the lines over and over again just to memorize them better since we did have lots of issues on memorization on lines. Then, we discussed how to add emotions into the lines in order to make the performance more interesting to watch. Personally, because I do not have any actual interaction with other performers, it is harder for me to show emotions. Therefore, I thought that it would be a good idea to focus more on my voice. Thus, I watched my first draft of the performance and found out that my voice was too deep and did not show any inner thoughts. I decided to work on my voice and switching the emotions as the tone of the performance changes. When I am talking about how I love and miss Josephine, my voice should be soft and gentle.
