‘Rise and shine’ another morning started by my mom’s annoying line. I dress up and go to work in the warehouse. Thanks god my friend Jim was there so that I had someone to talk to. After the work I went to movie as usual until midnight. When I was just about to go into the door, I look to the fire escape, moon light seems so bright which is the opposite to my future.

The next day I heard from mom that Laura hadn’t gone to the school for a long time, I kind of got why she did not go, she is probably tired of trying so hard in a poor condition. However, I started to worried about the future of this family, what will happen if I leave? 

Finally, the argument that should have happened a long time ago happened today, I am tired of keep listen to her nonsense and her ‘science’ I don’t feel sorry for nothing I did today, it was right. Maybe I will get to leave the house. However I’m feeling sorry for breaking Laura’s glass menageries...

After a few days, I apologized to mom, then she immediately asked me to bring a man from warehouse for Laura, do you who who was the first man came up in my mind? It was Jim! 


Jim came, and it could not be more awkward at first... after one or two hours, I told Laura that I did not use the money mom gave me to charge electronics, instead used it for my dream, then I told her that I’m about to leave. I kissed Laura, then, my journey began.

Continue from the previous chapter, Desiree eventually finds a young man who is injured from the accident, whose name is Daniel. She sees a broken car, which at that time she had no idea what it is. To comfort Daniel, Desiree sings a song and then other peasants from the village appear. They bring Daniel back to their place and look after him. At the meantime, Desiree thinks that all this is fate, it is the will of God that brought this man to their place. Apparently, Daniel is from the wealthy part, but he does not tell them what his specific identity is. Peasants send M.J and M.B to the city to find someone. After a few days, M.J and M.B come back.
